Jillian was raised in Durham, CT and has returned here to serve the community and help others live their best life. She has a special connection to the high school community and wants to provide a safe space for adolescents and young adults to get the help they need. She hopes to be a resource to anyone who wants to learn more about addiction, mental health, and recovery.
Jillian currently serves as the Clinical Director of Acute and Crisis Recovery Services at Continuum of Care, Inc. in addition to her private practice. In that role, she oversees residential crisis programs for veterans, DMHAS, and private pay client populations with co-occurring psychiatric illness and substance use disorders. For the past 5 years, Jillian has become an expert in treating individuals with co-occurring disorders, utilizes crisis intervention and stabilization practices, and has experience treating adolescents to adults. Her mission is to form connections with individuals suffering from the pain of addiction or mental illness and empower them to choose a life of recovery. Jillian is a member of NASW-CT and formally served as a Trustee on the PACE Committee. She was also named the 2015 NASW-CT Student of the Year.
Allan Griffin has over 6 years of experience working in the substance abuse field. He has a passion for helping families and individuals who suffer with substance use and co-occurring disorders. He helps create and execute a plan that best suits the individual and other parties involved. Allan spends much of his time getting involved in the communities to help connect families and individuals with resources in their area. Allan participates in many community forums, panels, school assemblies, and parent groups to help educate communities on the disease of addiction. In Allan’s free time he likes being active outdoors with his wife and 2 children.
