Mariah Cortes, LPC

Mariah is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sacred Heart University. Mariah has experience working in adolescent eating disorder and mental health residentials, IOP, and outpatient mental health for adolescents and adults. Her therapeutic style is focused on a humanistic and client-centered philosophy, placing the therapeutic relationship of highest importance. Mariah operates from a culturally and intersectionally informed, values, and existential/meaning-based framework.

With a diverse knowledge in mood disorders, grief support, eating disorders, minority stress, LGBTQ+ affirming care, trauma, ADHD, and various life transitions, Mariah is confident in her ability to adapt treatment to your individual needs. She seeks to help her clients embrace their authenticity while building skills to navigate life’s challenges, cultivate genuine well-being, and improve overall quality of life.
