Theresa Simbolon is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College (IL) and a Bachelors in Theology from Southeast Asia Bible Seminary (Indonesia). She has worked with high-acuity populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including at a residential treatment center.

Theresa specializes in supporting individuals working through trauma, addiction and co-occurring disorder, and major life transitions. Theresa draws from her Asian background to bring cultural sensitivity and insight into her work. Theresa understands the complex roles of culture, family dynamics, and identity impact mental health. She is especially committed to supporting BIPOC and immigrant individuals as they face challenges related to identity, belonging, and intergenerational experiences.

Theresa holds the belief that everyone deserves to feel supported, heard, and empowered in their journey toward healing and growth.
